Addie Bell Edwards was born as the oldest daughter to I.V. Tennyson and Fairy M. Lucas on July 8, 1944 in Lindale, Texas.
Addie came to know the Lord at a young age at Walnut Springs Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Bruce Lyons, in Lindale, Texas.  
She graduated from Bragg Morris High School in Lindale, Texas.  Addie married Loyas Edwards and they later divorced but remain the best of friends.  
To this union they raised 2 sons, Alvin and Andre.  She was a devoted mother/grandmother and loved spending time with her family.  

She worked at Levi Strauss and Company for 22 years in Tyler, Texas and later became a certified nurses aide in 1990 where she received multiple awards
in appreciation for dedicated service until she retired in 2010. 

She was preceded in death by her father I.V. Tennyson, her mother Fairy M. Lucas, brothers: Charles Lucas, Cecil Tennyson, Walter Tennyson,
and Ray Charles Tennyson; and sister: Hattie M. Tennyson.

She was a beloved & faithful member of the Walnut Springs Missionary Baptist Church, and dedicated member of the Pride & Progress Community
Organization, working tirelessly with anything needing to be done.  Her involvement was very instrumental. 

Addie Bell was called to eternal rest on January 31, 2023 and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.  She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.  
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Alvin Edwards, Lindale, Tx and Andre Edwards, Tyler, Tx, sisters; Shirley Anderson, Lindale, Tx, Mary Lucas, Mesquite, Tx Priscilla Bowie (Ernest) Tyler, Tx, and Vickie Crawford Tyler, Tx; brothers, Willie J. Tennyson, Sr (Tena) Bullard, Tx, Glenn Paul Tennyson (Vicky) Tyler, Tx, and
Bennie Edmond, Swan, Tx; grandsons, Tayton Danielle and Teigan Edwards, both of Lindale, Tx; granddaughters, Kayla Cady, Ponca City, Ok, and Jamaria Edwards,
Tyler, Tx; and plethora of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and brothers & sisters in the Lord. Cedrick Caldwell (nephew); Mother figure to: Delano Warren,
Omaha, NE, Ifeanyi Koggu, Swan, Tx, Eric Derett, Tyler, Tx, and Cedric Mosley, Swan, Tx.
