Albert Gee was born October 28, 1934 to the parents of Jessie and Annie Mae Gee in Tyler, TX He was the seventh child of twelve children

Albert Gee attended Jackson High School and was excellent in basketball and had a great love for this sport. At the age of 18, Albert left home to pick cotton in West Texas. He then moved to Denver Colorado to work as a parking attendant where he met his best friend Hamp. He and Hamp formed an unbreakable bond (65 years) that has lasted to this day.

In 1963 the Holy Spirit began to convict his heart and he was led to attend church. On October 27,1963, Albert fully surrendered and gave his life of the Lord. He began pursuing a deeper relationship with God and this led him to Frank L. Mason, where he worshiped and grew in the knowledge of God.

In 1964 God showed him in a dream a young woman praising and dancing to the Glory of God. Later that year in December during a church meeting in Wichita, Ks that dream was manifested. That young woman was Mary L. Irving. They were married February 07, 1965.
Albert continued to pursue the will of God for his life. While lying in bed one night he heard constant drips of water from the bathroom faucet that became louder and louder. After turning off the water, he laid down and God showed him a dream of a field with black-eye peas, beautiful heads of cabbage, many, many, many onions, cucumbers and squash. This was interpreted as a field of people ready to be harvested for the Kingdom of God in Tyler, Tx. In 1968 he was called into the ministry and ni 1972 moved his family to Tyler, Tx and started Gospel Mission Church July of 1973 ordained as the pastor by Elder James Jones. God's promise to Albert that "If you go work the field will bless you" was fulfilled.
