Alice Faye passed away on May 9, 2024, in Dallas, TX, at the age of 93.

She was born to Alvin Jones and Louisa Goodman on August 6, 1931, in White Wright, TX. Alice Faye attended Whitewright Elementary School and Fred Douglas High School. She later pursued her education at UT Nursing School and became a Registered Nurse, dedicating 46 years to her profession.

Alice Faye is survived by her two sisters, Fannie Granderson and Jo Margaret McKinney, and her children: Renaldo Emerson Sr, Deborah Sanders, and Bryant Birotte.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: LaSaundra Jones-Neal (Jesse), Renaldo Emerson Jr (Myishia), Brian Emerson, Alyse Daniels (Sheldon), and Bobby Johnson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her Godmother Rena Williams, her daughter Barbara Ann Emerson, and her husbands William Emerson and Willie Birotte. Additionally, she was preceded by her brothers: OB Marton, JB Redman, Oscar Lee Ball, YC Pierce, and her sister Elnora Jenkins.
