Almeda Parks Parker was born May 6,1933 to Edgar Parks and Pearl Walker Parks in Tyler, Smith County,Texas. Mrs. Parker departed this life July 3,2024.

Almeda attended Carver School and Dixie School. At an early age she united with College Hill MIssionary Baptist Church. She was active in the Women's Mission until her health began to fail.

She was preceeded in death by her parents Edgar and Pearl Parks, husband Mardell Parker, daughter Vickie Parker and son Leon Parker. Brothers Alvin Miller, Fred Harrell, S.L and Elvin Cummings.

Those left to cherish her memories: Grandson, Cedric Bowman, Kendrick Bowman and Galen Parker ( Barbara). Grandaughters, Jacqueline Parker, Ashanta Parker and Ayana Parker. One sister, Lottie Ervin. Ten (10) great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
