Annie Mae Dews Green was born August 28, 1942 in Whitehouse, Texas to the parentage of John F. Dews and Maglene Erwin Dews. Annie accepted Christ at an early age and was one of the "Mothers" at Rosedale Revival Temple Church of God in Christ.

She was married to Frankie Lee Green, Sr. for over 50 years. Together they raised 5 boys. He preceded her in death in 2018. Also, preceding her in death were 3 brothers: Charles Dews, Albert Dews and Fred Dews, Sr., 9 sisters, Zeffie Waters, Helen Green, Frances Jones, Debra Woods, Ethelene Oglesby, Rhonda Hawkins, Essie Dorsey, Pearline Jones and Ruby Walker.

She leaves as survivors, 5 sons: Paul Dewayne Dews (Shelia), Ben Edward Dews (Patricia), Richard Beauford Dews (Pamela), Frankie Lee Green, Jr., Antoine Leon Green (Teressa). 2 sisters, Doris Carter Houston TX and Linda White of Tyler; 3 brothers, Melvin Dews (Betty), Oakwood, TX; John Dews, Tucson, Arizona, Ronald Dews (Sharon), Tyler, TX. 27 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
