Life's Pleasures:  Ms. McAfee enjoyed her morning constitution: reading the newspaper and working the Crossword and Sudoku in ink, in perfect penmanship.  Though they lived 100 miles away, she and her sister Nettie talked multiple times a day loved to compare Crossword answers every night.  She was a fierce Spade player and enjoyed games with dear friends ( Johnnie Seastrunk , Win i fred Johnson and Atharie Nelson) with games lasting until the wee hours of the morning.   She enjoyed cruises and trips to Las Vegas as often as possible.   She enjoyed attending sorority conventions and regional conferences.  She loved to read and loved sending greeting cards, remembering birthdays and special occasions.   She loved dressing, as all proper Southern wom en did, from head to toe for all occasions; everything starched and ironed.  If you saw her at 8:00 in the morning she had on low heals and hose.
