Mr. Billy Merrell Reed was born April 4,1955 in Dallas,Texas to William Guy Reed and Artie Lee Ross Reed. He attended local schools and was a graduate of L.G. Pinkston High School. He also attended Prairie View A&M College. After moving to chandler he received his Associate Degree from Tyler Junior College.

Billy was a faithful and dedicated member of Faith Tabernacle Church of Deliverance in Chandler where he served as a deacon.

He worked for Burns Commercial Properties in Tyler. He was a person who loved to work with this hands. He loved working on cars, had training in air conditioning repair, billy could just about fix anything! But his favorite activity was enjoying family and friends.

Billy transitioned his early life on Tuesday, November 26,2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Artie Lee Reed, Brother Dale Johnson and also his maternal and paternal grandparents, Vera Moore and Charles Etta Nesby.

He leaves to cherish many memories, a loving and devoted wife, Georgia Davis Reed; son Jason Sanders (Tiri) and Daughters, Christina Willis (Hoza), Tarsha Anderson LaBoard (Henry) and Gabrielle Reed. He is also survived by two brothers Douglas Ross and Lawrence Reed; Sisters Cheryl Taylor. Seven grandchildren and three great grand children. Godfather, Henry Eiglebiger, many godchildren, other relatives and lifelong friends.
