Mr. Bobby Glen Scott was born October 12, 1960, in Smith County to the late RK Scott and Merlean Richardson Scott. He attended TISD Public School for his primary education and was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School Class of 1979.
He joined New Holland Missionary Baptist Church an excepted Christ at an early age. His labor called for numerous jobs during his lifetime. He was a proud employee of Brookshire's Warehouse until his health failed.
Bobby Glen departed this earthly life on Monday, November 8, 2021. Preceding him in death were both parents.
Bobby Glen was a loving, devoted and caring person with such a bug heart. He was the life of any "entertainment" and never meet a stranger. He loved his family, friends, and community where he earned the nickname " The Mayor of STL." To know him was to love him. He was a TRUE Cowboys Fan.
He leaves to cherish his memories sons; Roderick Scott of Tyler, Texas and David Wiley of North Carolina, three grandchildren;brothers; Herman Lee Jones of Lancaster, CA, Douglas Jones(Faye), Connally Jones(Susanne),sisters; Gloria Mitchell(Billy), and Rochelle Scott(Mack), all of Tyler, Texas; one aunt, Lavada Belle Jordan of Santa Barbara, CA, two uncles; Laney "Billy" Richardson of Bakersfield, CA, and Wesley Richardson(Marie) of Valencia, CA, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
