Lovell was born December 25, 1961, in Athens, Texas to Hoover and Juliette Edwards.

Lovell attended Athens High School and graduated from University of Texas Tyler with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Professionally, Lovell had a successful career in banking. She retired from Bank of America after 31 years. Post-Retirement, she embarked on a second career, as a realtor with Keller Williams Reality.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful and active member of the Athens Church of the Living God, PGT. She served as treasurer of the GLOW Society.

On June 21, 1986, she married Keith Barker. To this union they had one daughter, Paige Barker Johnson.

Her parents, Hoover and Juliette Edwards, preceded her in death.

Lovell departed this life on July 4, 2022, at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler surrounded by her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, a dedicated & loving husband of 36 years, Keith Barker; one daughter, Paige Barker Johnson & son-in-law Jermain Johnson, Forney; two granddaughters whom she cherished, Callie and MaKayla Johnson; Sisters, Starla Ingram (DuEarl), Regina Edwards, Paula Edwards; Brother, Carl Edwards; Aunt, Hilda Ray (Cecil); Uncle, John Glover, James Blanton (Angela); niece, Brooke Chancellor (Nathan), nephew, Jordan Richardson; great nieces, Jillian Glover, Lauren Chancellor, great nephew, Noah Richardson; cousins, Katrina Glover, Charita Blakely, Darla Ray. She leaves a host of other close relatives, and friends.

Public viewing will be at the church on Friday from 11:00am-1:00pm.
