A Beautiful Life Well Lived

Cleofos Rachel Wickware-Washington, affectionally known as “Keitha,” was born on March 10, 1959, in Tyler, Texas. She attended Chapel Hill during her early school years and later attended John Tyler High School.

Keitha dedicated much of her life to her home and family, embracing her role as a wife and homemaker with love and devotion to her husband, Hartest L Washington Jr of 38 years. She relentlessly loved her family with all her heart; she enjoyed cooking talking and telling everything she knew “lol”. You were never leaving her presence without a picture she loved creating memories. A woman of God given FAITH, she loved God and made she her husband and children did not forget to give thanks to GOD everyday for another day of living. A Woman Like No Other

She was a woman whose smile could brighten your heart and make you happy from the inside out. Her beautiful dimples made her smile unforgettable, and her laugh was one of a kind, a sound that was uniquely hers and could never be mistaken for anyone else’s. Her presence brought joy, her laughter brought warmth, and her love left an imprint that could never be erased.

Her love for her children was so beautiful she was the best mom she could be and it was a joy to her, the children knew no bounds when it came to her loving and supporting them. Her husband was the love of her life, her heart, she made sure everyone knew that he was her one and only “Honey-Bun,”. She loved fiercely, gave endlessly, and made sure her family always knew they were loved and

supported. She always wanted to be around family that was her #1 value “she was going to be there no matter where it was at”. She was very intentional about bringing everyone together with her cooking, nurturing heart, generous spirit, and with the love she poured into her family.

And when it came to fashion, she was a runway all by herself! Her closet was a fashion show waiting to happen, and she never needed a special occasion to look her best. Whether she was going to the gas station, the dollar store, or somewhere special, she stepped out in style—always fly, always classy, always beautiful, and always with that perfect touch of beauty. She knew how to put an outfit together and wear it with confidence, grace, and undeniable flair. When she stepped out, she made sure it was giving everything it was supposed to give!

Her hair was always styled, always changing, but she especially loved her baby-hair always in place just right, always a part of every hairstyle her entire life. She had a style, a presence, and a personality that belonged to no one else.

Keitha was beautiful inside and out, full of life, full of love, and full of character. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grand/great grandmother, sister and friend and a woman who made an impression without ever having to try. There will never be another woman quite like her, because there was only one her. Her smile, her laugh, her love, her style, and the beautiful memories she created will forever live in the hearts of everyone blessed enough to know and love her.

Her life was a gift to those who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
