Retired 1 ^st Sgt David N. Worley was born May 1, 1950. He died in his last battle with cancer on November 14 ^th at 10:00 pm.

He was preceded by his mother Phyllis Worley, his brother; Steve Worley, and his grandfather and grandmother Elton and Emma Beard.

He graduated from Sheffield High School, in Sheffield, Alabama. He also graduated with his bachelor's degree in Music from UNA.

David taught music in Mississippi before joining the Army. He retired in 2005 with Honorable Discharge and became an Instructor at New Mexico Military Institute, where he retired with his wife Penny Worley and her son Hud Gee.
