Delois Swanson Overshown passed away on Friday, October 11, at 11:09pm. She was born to the lat PR and Zeffa Mae Swanson on September 16, 1943.

Delois atteneded Tyler Schools. Worked as a Food Service Worker II at East Texas Medical Center and U.T. Health Center of Tyler,TX.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Waymon Overshown, and two brothers; Henry Swanson and Paul Swanson.

Delois married Waymon Overshown, and to this union two children were born. She leaves to cherish her memory two loving and devoted children, Mary Lois Overshown (Lynn) and Gary Overshown (Karen). Three grandchildren; Alesha Overshown, Gary A. Overshown, and Alliyah Overshown, one great-grandchild; Londyn Overshown, and one Godson JaHavean Dorsey. Two sisters; Alice Faye Davis, and Joyce Swanson both of Dallas,mTX, one brother; David Lee Swanson of Tyler,TX, and a host of relatives and friends.
