Ms. Delois Dunn was born on September 29, 1947 to the late Buford Dunn Sr. and Jettie Dunn. Ms. Dunn departed this life on November 18, 2021 in Tyler, Texas.She was preceded in death by one brother, Buford Dunn, Jr.

Ms. Delois Dunn was a graduate of Emmett J. Scott in 1966. She later graduated from Texas College in 1970, while attending Texas College she pledged Zeta Phi Beta.

She was a lifetime member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church, and served as the announcement clerk for many years.

Ms. Delois Dunn is survived by her sister-in-law; Mrs. Annie P. Dunn of Tyler, Texas, three nieces; Mrs. Sharon Griffin, Karen Dunn, Andrea Dunn all of Tyler, Texas; two nephews, Clifford Dunn, and Derrick Dunn all of Tyler, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.
