Doris Magnolia Wilkins Biggs was born October 3,1921 to Charlie and Pearl Wilkins in the New Home Community in Tyler, Texas. She graduated from Gladewater High School.

She later united in holy matrimony to Simmie Biggs, and was the mother of nine children.

Magnolia retired from Tyler ISD after over 40 years of employment. She was a member of Carter Temple CME Church where she served on the missionary board. She also was a Matron in the Heroines of Jericho where she was active until her health failed her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Simmie Biggs, parents Charlie and Pearl Wilkins; Children Charles Moses, Howard Moses, Ruby Richard, Linda Biggs and Doris Dorsey.

Those left to cherish her memories are daughters, Marilyn McClendon (Winston), Barbara Biggs, Jaquelyn Biggs; Son Ronald Biggs (Von) and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
