Earnestine Massenburge was born June 6, 1931 to Willie Earl Choice and Juanita Choice in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.
She attended local schools and was a graduate of Jackson High School. She professed Christ at an early age and united with St. Violet Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir until her health failed.
She retired from Trane Company, enjoyed fishing, and spending time with her family. Earnestine was also a well-known seamstress, and enjoyed sewing.
Earnestine was preceded in death by parents, Willie and Juanita Choice, Husband; Noble Massenburge, one brother; Willie Earl Choice,Jr., five sisters, Patricia Choice McNeal Erwin, Barbara Choice Lynch, Catherine Choice Lyons-Brown, Dorothy Choice, and Eddie Doll Choice.
Earnestine leaves to cherish her memories, sons; Larry Don Massenburge and Jerry Massenburge, daughter; Carolyn Ford(Danny). Grandchildren; Tacarlo Pettigrew, Lakita Butler, Willie Kevin Massenburge, Brandon Ford, Robin Warren, Lakia Ford, Jerrick Massenburge, and Jerel Massenburge. Eight-great-grandchildren. One brother, Henry Earl Choice (Rosie) and two sisters, Geneva Johnson and Mattie Howelton, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
