Earnestine Haggerty Miller was born in Tyler, Texas to Alfred Haggerty and Lela Mae Cooks Haggerty. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Stanton High School.

Earnestine was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

She was a member of People's Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves as survivors, her loving and devoted children: Bobby Don Caddell, Ronnie Lee Caddell, Henry Caddell, Jr., Michael L. Caddell, and Shannon Caddell. One sister, Patricia Hawkins. 15 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren. Many other nieces, nephews, a God-daughter, and friends.
