IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elsie Lee
Smith
October 22, 1927 – September 12, 2021
Elsie Lee Smith was born October 22 1927, to the late Frank, Sr. and Parthenia Scott. She attended and graduated from Stanton School.
She was a domestic worker for many years. She united in holy matrimony with Willie Smith, who preceded her in death.
She united with Galilee Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful member until her health began to fell. She served over the Culinary Department for a few years, but she was always willing to assist where needed. She had a quiet spirit, with a compassionate and loving heart. She loved her family, although she never had children, she treated and cared for her nephews and nieces as though they were her own. She was a woman of fashion, she enjoyed sewing and cooking. Although she never attended cosmetology school nor worked as a beautician, she had the skills and talent to do hair.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank,Sr. and Parthenia Scott, husband, Willie Smith, two brothers, Herman and Frank Scott, Jr., three sisters, Mauldie Scott, Frankie Ware, and Bernice Henderson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one sister; Margie Scott, sister-in-law, Diane Scott, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
