Fannie Mae Scott was born on January 30, 1932 to Mr. William Yarbrough and Florence Henley.

On May 21, 1949, she married Mr. Coy Scott and to this union seven children were born.

She worked at Medical Center Hospital (currently U. T. Heath East Texas) until her retirement there and she also worked for Hospice of East Texas then fully retired. She joined Galilee Baptist Church at an early age and became a member of the Heroines of Jericho. Later as an adult she joined St. Louis Baptist Church. At St. Louis she was an active faithful and member.

She loved cooking lunches for vacation bible school and going on church trips with the youth ministry. She loved Jesus and her church. She served until her health failed, however was always concerned about the church and what was happening there. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 18, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Coy, sons Howard and Greg, and her daughter, Martha Lynn Scott Sanders.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, 4 children, Paul Scott (Jackie), Florence Brown (Kenneth), Coy Scott, Jr. (Hazel), and Keith Scott, 14 Grandchildren, Christian, Christopher, Dennis, Tahitia, Clinton, Amber, Howard Jr., Dominique, Apryl, Dee-Dee, Brandon, Renotta, Courtney and Melanie, 9 Great-Grand and 1 Great-great Grand Child. Brother, Mr. Robert Hardin and host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces and other relatives and friends.
