Flora Jo Miles was born December 28, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Carlie Ben Miles and Mabel Dugan. Flora had 9 siblings.  She attended Fort Worth ISD public schools and graduated from I.M. Terrell High School.

Flora accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She was a member of  Carter Metropolitan C.M.E Church, in Fort Worth, Texas where she was active on the reception committee where she would meet and greet visitors and new members  each Sunday.

Serving others was her passion and the dedication and love she had for her family was immeasurable.

Flora met and married Rev. Willie McCalister on January 25, 1992 in Dallas, Texas.

Flora is proceeded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Miles, daughter, Twilia Felder and son Jorey Felder. Sister, Vivian Hart, brothers, Carl Miles, Raymond Miles, Louis Miles, and Earl Miles.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories, her husband Rev. Willie McCalister of 28 years, sons Mitchale Felder (Hilda), Frederin Felder, Zack McCalister, stepdaughters;  Sheila McCalister-Wiley, Cassandra McCalister, and Felicia McCalister, one bother; Joseph Miles, and two sisters; Barbara Jackson, Alice Flake; grandchildren: and a host of nieces and nephews . Grandchildren: Marcus, KyRen, Rachale, Sara, and three great-grandsons,  &  a host of nieces and nephews.
