Glenn Lewis West was born on November 5, 1988 to the loving parents, Dorothy Day and Lewis Pettigrew in Tyler, Texas.

He attended school in Brownsboro, Texas. Later he and his mother moved to Athens, Texas in 2007 where he graduated from high school. Glenn began in the work program, and he began work at McDonald's where he remained until his death.

Glenn attended Faith Tabernacle under the leadership of the Late Elder J.D. Hamilton.

Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Pettigrew, and two brothers, Gene Elbert Day and Jerral Day, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, mother, Dorothy Jean Day; brother, Frankie Lamont Day, six aunts; Josephine West, Helen West, Carolyn West, Diane Wilson, Geraldine Mcclain, Bobbie Jean Pettigrew; two brothers, Travis West, James Lee Pettigrew; God-sister(cousin), Ashley Bowman Marcum, and a host of other family, friends,and work family(McDonald's)
