It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing into eternity of Gloria Hernandez Espinoza on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from a sudden cardiac arrest.  Gloria was the center of her home, the pillar of the family and the sound of her contagious laughter will be missed by all.  She was a woman of quiet and steady faith and lived the love of the Lord out in the hospitality she offered to everyone she welcomed into her home.

Gloria began her life in Mission, Texas, born on September 9,1944.  She was the fourth eldest of her family and was a mother figure to her younger siblings. She worked hard in her family and even as a child took duties of cooking, cleaning, taking care of her younger siblings for her parents.  She learned at a very young age that family and home life was most important to her and would later show that in her marriage.

She met the love of her life, Manuel P. Espinoza, Jr. in Kerrville, Texas in 1960.  They later married on July 6, 1962, and would be sweethearts forever more.  This year on July 6th, they were married for 62 years and shared an unwavering love for one another that is the essence of a Christian marriage.  Through their young married lives, Gloria was blessed with three children, Manuel P. Espinoza III, Johnny Espinoza, and Kathy Espinoza Ramos who all survive her.

Gloria Hernandez Espinoza worked for Kerrville State Hospital ,H.E.B., K-Mart, and The Hernandez's Family Acapulco Restaurant while they were living in Kerrville Texas.  She spent many years working with her husband in his paint and bodyshop in Tyler, Texas.  She happily and joyfully welcomed time with her grandchildren:  Jennifer Espinoza, Jeremy Espinoza, Joshua Barager, Joshua Osorio, Arnold Espinoza, Kamile Espinoza and Roman Ramos Jr and her great grandchildren, Johnny Espinoza, Desiree Jerrells, Christina Jerrells, Taylor Pride, Alyse Espinoza-Bush, Alijah Espinoza-Bush, and Alainah Espinoza-Bush and her great-great grandchild Clarence Watson.

She is survived by brothers Joe A Hernandez, Rocky Hernandez, Joe L Hernandez, and Rudy Hernandez; sisters Olga Carmona and Lolly Flores, and many nieces and nephews.  Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Raul H. Hernandez and Otila Hernandez and her brother Arnold Hernandez.
