Helen Mims Lee, 78, born August 4, 1946, to the late Clinton and Mary D. Mims of Tyler, Texas passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who touched countless lives with her unwavering faith, wisdom, and strength.

Helen dedicated over 20 years to her calling as a caregiver, providing compassion and support to those in need. After retiring early, she embraced the opportunity to spend more time with her family, cherishing every moment with her loved ones. A devoted member of North Tenneha Church of Christ, Helen's faith was the foundation of her life. Helen's faith and devotion to her family were the guiding forces in her life, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and quiet grace.

She deeply loved her family and her faith, finding joy in reading her Bible, cooking, baking and took great pride in keeping a warm and tidy home. Though she lived a private life, those she welcomed into her home were always met with love and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Clinton and Mary D. Mims; her son, Quincy Lee; her brothers, Codis Mims and Johnny Mims; and her sister, Mary Mims. She leaves behind her loving children, Janet McCleveland, Bruce Lee Jr. (Melissa), and LaTarra Trotter (Wayne); her cherished grandchildren, Keaston Brooks and Alexus Ware (Ke'Von); and her great-grandchildren, Amaya Brooks and Kamari Ware. She is also survived by her sister, Nelva Cofer (Don); her brothers, Clinton Mims Jr. and Michael Mims; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Hopewell Valley Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Helen's life. Helen's love, warmth, wisdom and contagious smile will always be remembered
