James L WIlliams Jr. also known as Moochie was born January 20,1949 to the Union of James and Doris Williams Sr in Smith County.
James accepted christ at an early age and was a member, president of the male chorus and chairman of the deacon board at Greater Hopewell Baptist Church.
On March 11,1972, James married Venita Kay Williams. They were married for 52 years before his death.
James was a Mechanic and Jack of all trades. All who knew and met him were touched by his kind heart. He had a way with words that would always bring a smile to your face. He will forever be missed.
He was preceded in death by both parents James L. Williams Sr (10/17/1989) & Doris Williams (05/20/2020); two brothers Gene & Glendon Williams.
James is survived by; Wife: Venita Kay Williams Sisters: Kay Francis Williams & Linda Burton (Austin); Three sons Terrence Williams (Dianna), Dock Williams, James D. Williams; Daughters: Minister Dorise Adkins, Cemon Veasey; Five Granddaughters: Tamesa, Teairra, Leah, Kay'Deijah and Nic'Kyah; Four Grandsons: Favorite Gilbert III, Dyvione, Damion, and Derrick; Seven Great-grandchildren: Kyndall, Jaxston, Adalyn, Gavin, Gilbert IV, Kyrione, & Rhayne Sisters: Kay Francis Williams & Linda Burton (Austin); And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
