Mr. Jeffery McQueen was born on February 4, 1971 to the late Hiawatha Lyles and the late Lorene Butler in Palestine, Texas.
While living with his grandparents, "Liz," and "Big S," in Palestine, Tx., Jeffery grew up with his three other brothers, the late Kevin McQueen, Ramon McQueen, and Hiawatha Lyles III, and a host of cousins. He attended Elementary and Middle school in Chandler, Texas. After the completing his early childhood school years, he attended and graduated high school from Brownsboro High, in Brownsboro, Texas. In high school, he enjoyed the sport of Football. He was a starting Sophomore on Varsity for three years.
His favorite NFL Team was New York Jets. He also enjoyed a great challenging game of chess with his brothers, cousins, and friends. But besides football and chess, he loved above all, his mother's sole food cooking and delicious cakes, and pies for dessert. He looked forward for every holiday and family reunion. Not only did he love her cooking, but he also became a chip off the old block and learn to cook just as well as his Mom. He enjoyed cooking with her, especially Bar-B-Que ribs, briskets, and smoked links.
Aftergraduating from high school, Jeffery relocated to Carrolton, Texas, where he was a long-time employee at P P G Industries, until the Lord called him home.
His loved ones that proceed him in death are his parents: Hiawatha Lyles, Jr., Lorene Butler Lyles, brother Kevin L. McQueen, grandparents Sam and Elizabeth Butler, Hiawatha Lyles, Sr. and Ruby Lyles, Aunts, Betty J. Eiglebiger, Shelia
E. Butler, Ladell Butler, and Lisa Butler, Jennie Smith and Theresa Lyles, cousin, Brandy Smith.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his two brothers, Ramon McQueen (Holly), and Hiawatha Lyles III; Chandler, TX, nephews, Lawrence Lyles, Chandler, TX, Christopher McQueen, Ft.
