Celebration of Life
Jimmie Earl Brown was born October 18, 1956 to the late Allen Jones, Sr. and the late Delia Sash Brown. He was lovingly raised by his father, Robert Brown, Sr. Jimmie was a graduate of Lindale High School and later earned his Associate of Science degree. He gave his life to Christ at an early age. He served at Greater Ideal in Dallas and most recently joined Disciple Central Community Church in Desoto.
He retired as a professional truck driver. Jimmie loved to entertain, cook and clean, gardening, reading His Word, and his family. But he most loved his granddaughters. Jimmie transitioned from his earthly home to his Heavenly home December 23, 2020.
Jimmie leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife, Katrina Brown of Cedar Hill; one son, Jeremy Brewster of Tyler; one daughter, Shatara Starks of Lancaster; one stepson, Kerick Fanner of Dallas; one stepdaughter, LaShan Williams (Reginald) of Cedar Hill; five granddaughters, Kaia Starks-Ross and Skylar Starks-Ross of Lancaster, Shaylon Brewster, Aspen Brewster, and Kamari Brewster of Tyler; five brothers, Billy Brown (Janett) of Conroe, Richard Brown of Tyler, David Jones of Winona, Allen Jones, Jr. of Troup, and Rueben Earl Jones of Berkley, CA; six sisters, Lena Bowie and Mary Brown of Tyler, Ruth Brown of Dallas, Irene Berry of Richardson, and Edna Stephens (Darvin) of Seattle, WA; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
