Life Reflections

Jimmy Browder was born July 28, 1951, in Dallas, Texas, son of the late J. C. Lewis and Itencher Tillman Barber Goins. Jimmy received his formal education in the Dallas Public School District. After graduating high school, Jimmy enlisted into the United States Army, where he developed and mastered his culinary skills. Jimmy later met and married the love of his life, Shirley. To this union, they became a blended family of 10 children. Jimmy enjoyed spending quality time with his family. Family time was when he developed a life-long love for fishing and became an avid fan of his favorite football team, The Green Bay Packers.

Jimmy Browder departed this life on Thursday, November 26, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, two siblings and one son (Sajan).
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife: Shirley Browder, Children: Jimmy Jr., Kertrenia Wright (Dendre), La Toya Johnson, Tobrice Crawford, Kenneth Kirkwood (Sherrie), Marcus Shipman, Rochelle Sanders, Arion Shipman, and Nevis Palmer (Curtis), twenty grandchildren: Jazmine Johnson, Jiquan Wilson, Jasmine Wright, Rebecca Wright, Rachel Wright, Isaiah Wright, Jayla Kirkwood, Dareshia Ervin, Darrius Singleton, Adrian Geter, Darryl Sanders, Tabitha Sanders, Marcus Shipman, Louvicious Shipman, Eric Johnson, Shylicka Shipman Chavez, Quindra Shipman Gains, Davonta Hubbard,  Demayia Shipman, and Shareasa Shipman, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one sister: Pat Caywood, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
