Mr. John L. Johnson was born February 15, 1952 to Mr. Willie "Buddy" Johnson, Sr. and Mrs. Irene Johnson. He was a longlife resident of Tyler, Texas and a graduate of John Tyler High School. He worked for Tyler Pipe Foundry, City of Tyler, and LDL Asphalt.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was a faithful member of the Shiloh Holiness Church, Tyler, Texas.

John L. Johnson departed this life on January 26, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Willie Johnson,Sr. and Mrs. Irene Johnson. Siblings; Willie Johnson, Jr., Marvell Johnson, Henry L. Johnson, Tiny Ray Johnson, Charlie Johnson, Verdell Johnson, Gracie Smith and Irtha Johnson(Jettie D).

Mr. John L. Johnson leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife;Mozelle Johnson, Daughters; Christina Douglas(Author) Dallas,TX, Stephanie Williams(Samuel)Chandler, TX, Chiquita Williams(Jimmie),Yolanda Green(McKenny),Latresa Johnson and Jessica Johnson all of Tyler,TX. Sons; Dewaleyn Johnson (Keitha), John F. Johnson, Joshua Johnson all of Tyler, TX. Siblings; Dorothy Malone, Ira Jean Rushing (Sherman), Polly Ann Johnson, Betty Jean Jett, and Tommie Johnson. Fifteen grandchildren, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
