Lee James Allen was born to George W. Allen and Frankie M. Herndon Allen on Oct. 14,7949 in Vernon Texas. They moved to Frederick, Oklahoma in 1955, where he attended Boyd School, later attending Frederick High School and graduating in 1968.
He served in the Army, during the Vietnam War, from August 1968 to June 1971. After serving, he worked at General Electric, later becoming Trane Co. Where he worked in shipping and receiving. He retired in 2010. He was an active member of the Greater New Faith Baptist Church of Troup, Texas where he served as Chairman of the Deacon Board and Trustee. He was also a Founding Member of The Corvette Club of Tyler in 1982. In his spare time you could catch him on his boat in the middle of the lake fishing or crossing state lines in his Corvette taking road trips. He was also a skilled carpenter and loved his westerns.

He was preceded in death by his father George W Allen, his mother Frankie M Burns, 3 baby sisters: Baby Allen, Jena Roshell Allen, and Keshia Allen; 2 brothers: George W. Allen Jr. and Wilfred W. Allen, and one grandson, DeMarcus Roberts.

He leaves to mourn his passing:3 Daughters; Denise Wallace (Latisa)of Tyler, Tx; Jameka Jones (Aaron) of Rockwall, Tx; LeTeasha Davis (Joseph) of Tyler, Tx; 1 Son; Brent Allen (Leidy) of Little Elm, Tx; 1 Sister; Merry Buckles of Tyler, Tx; A Special Nephew; Kesi Buckles of Houston, Tx; A Special Friend; Barbara Scott; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grand children, and a host of nieces and nephews.
