Letha Owens Wallace was the third child born to Freddie Guy Owens and Johnnie Albright on January 22,1936. She departed this life on Saturday, August 26, 2023. She was born and raised in Bullard, TX. She graduated from Stanton High School in 1953 where she was the class
Salutatorian.

She joined Larissa CME at an early age and later became a member of Carter Metropolitan CME in Fort Worth, TX where she served in several capacities.

She graduated from Texas College in 1958 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. In 1966, she received her Master of Education from Texas Southern University. Her teaching career began at North Chapel School System in Kilgore, TX. She then moved to Fort Worth where she taught for over 30 years at Pascal High School. She also worked at Tarrant County Community College in Fort Worth. She was involved in various Social and Civic Organizations and was a lifetime member of Texas College Alumni Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers (Venard, Melvin, James) and an infant sister (LaVerne), Gary (nephew), Denise (niece) and LaDerrick (great-nephew)

She leaves to cherish her memories her brother Leonard. Nieces and nephews: Cynthia,Anita,Earnestine,Meoshi,Melvin,Michelle and Derrick. Great-Nieces and Nephews:Kimberly(Terrel),Krystal,M'Kayla,Ashanti,Darrium,Tatyana,Serenity,Kyreon,Jerion,Jordan,Darius,Carson,and Damoni. Great Great Nieces and Nephews: Jordyn,Kaedance,Jermiah and Kaniya. A host of other relatives and friends
