Linda Joyce Biggs was born April 16, 1952 in Tyler, Texas to the late Simmie Biggs and Magnolia Biggs. She graduated from Emmett J. Scott in 1970. She furthered her education at the Tyler Commercial College after high school. She began her career at General Electric in 1976 where she remained faithfully employed until her retirement after 36 years and two company name changes, Trane and Ingersoll Rand.
She was a lifelong member of Carter Temple C.M.E Church, where she sang in the Chancel Choir. She was also a member of the Heroines of Jericho, West Erwin Court.
She was preceded in death by her father; Simmie Biggs, grandparents; Pearl and Charlie Wilkins, brothers; Charles G. Moses,Howard L. Moses, and sister; Doris F. Dorsey.
Left to reflect on her memories are mother; Magnolia Biggs, daughter; Angela Biggs Madlock (Anthony), son; Jeremy T. Biggs, three granddaughters; Aschleigh S. Biggs, ZaKyra D. Hallman, and Kelcie A. Cross, and three great-grandchildren. Four sisters; Ruby Richard, Marilyn McLendon (Winston), Barbara Biggs, Jackie Biggs, and one brother; Ronald Biggs (Von), and a host of other family and friends.
