Lois square Warren was born to the late William Square (Bill) and Ollie Cooks. She was a graduate of Douglas Community School.

She united in marriage to Martin L. Warren, Sr October 6, 1946. To this union nine children were born.

Lois was a homemaker but she also worked outside the home. She retired from Chapel Hill ISD after many years of service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Square and Ollie Cooks, husband Martin Warren, Sr., two sons Glenn (Larry) Warren and Rickey Warren. Two sisters Neffie Timmons and Emma Square Mauldin. Two Brothers Ocie D. Timmons and Willie (Bear) Square.

Lois leaves to cherish memories, five sons Martin L Warren, Jr. Gary Warren (Loretta), Donald Warren (Jeanetta), Ronny Warren, Randy Warren; Two Daughters Tina Crawford (Andre) and Nina Warren (Ernest). One sister Jeanell Rider, one brother Alvin Square, and sister-in-law Ruby Campbell. A niece Sheila Moss; Special cousins; Catherine (Doris) Pink, Ruby Mosley, Jay Square and Dessie March. She also leaves 15 grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, God children Sheketha McGee, Dargan Street and the Sandhill Community children; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
