Marissa Elizabeth July-McCuin was born on October 29, 2003 to Earlest E. July and Jimmy W. McCuin. She departed this earthly life to be with the Lord on the early morning of April 24, 2022. Marissa was known for her big, bright, beautiful smile that would light up the room as soon as she stepped in. Her dimples were the first thing you saw! Marissa was a strong young woman who took a strong stance in her beliefs and morals without compromise. In addition to her smile and exuberant personality, Marissa was also the life of the party. When you heard that infamous "HEY!" you knew you were in for a good time and plenty of laughter. Marissa was well known for her blessed hands as she slayed hair all over the Tyler area. Her brilliance, wittiness, as well as her laugh will be greatly missed.

Marissa was loved and cherished by all of her family, including those that proceeded her in death: paternal grandfather, L. W. McCuin and uncle, Jerry Don McCuin. Waiting to welcome her to her new heavenly home were her older brother, Jimmy W. McCuin, Jr; uncle, Larry L McCuin; aunt, Janice Willis; maternal grandparents Isaac R. July, Sr and Lena Felder July.

In addition to her parents, left to cherish her memories are: brothers, Adam July of Charlotte, NC and Josiah Brown of the home; sister, Kayla J. Hawkins of the home; maternal grandmother, Dr. Fannie M. July of Chapel Hill, NC; paternal grandmother, Bertha Fay (Gerald) Parks of Tyler; uncle, Isaac July, Jr of Washington D.C.; aunt, Kim Riggins of Rocky Mount, NC; uncle, J. L. (Cheryl) McCuin of San Antonio, TX; aunt, Cynthia (Derrick) McDuff of Rusk, TX; aunt, Bertha Marie McCuin of Houston, TX; uncle, Gerald (Sally) McCuin of Dallas, TX; uncle, Ernest (Teresa) Grady, aunt, Dorothy (Michael) Session, uncle, L. W. McCuin, Jr, aunt, Lisa (Dexter) Davis, aunt, Nickey McCuin, uncle, Larry Willis all of Jacksonville, TX; aunt, Shelia (Roy) Johnson, uncle, Raymond McCuin, uncle, Tony (Tammy) McCuin and uncle, Corey (Solanda) McCuin; godmother, Latannica Parks all of Tyler, TX along with a host of relatives and friends.
