Ozella Jean Jones was born March 14, 1940 in Georgetown, Texas to Mrs. Annie Virgie Hodges and Johnnie Taylor. She graduated from high school and attended mortuary and cosmetology school.  Ozella was also an Aerobics Instructor and Licensed Insurance Agent. She was the proud owner of Jeans Import's & GiftShop.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband Isaiah Jones (Married June 3, 1961) and her brother Charlie "Red" Taylor. Sonny Rose (Grandfather), Hence Rose (uncle), Jack Rose (Uncle), Robert Rose (Uncle)

She leaves as survivors, one son; Kip Jones, and one daughter; Detra Jones, grandchildren; Felisha Jones-Brown(Dennis),Orlando Hicks and Justin Hicks, great-grandchildren; Lando Hicks, Natalie Hicks, and Phoenix Hicks, and a host of other relatives and friends.
