In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann Cole Brown
Patricia Ann Cole Brown was born on July 23, 1956, in Tyler. A proud native of Tyler, she was raised in a community she loved and remained deeply connected to throughout her life. Patricia attended Dunbar Elementary School and Moore Middle School before graduating from John Tyler High School.
Patricia was a faithful member of Miracle Center Church, where her faith and devotion were evident in the way she lived her life. She carried herself with quiet strength, grace, and resilience.
Patricia was first united in marriage to Robert Brown, and from that union they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, TaNasha Brown. She later remarried and built a loving life with her devoted husband, Bennie Griffin, with whom she continued to grow her family and share many years of love and partnership.
She dedicated many years of service to caring for others through her work at East Texas Medical Center and UT Health East Texas. She also worked at Greenberg Smoked Turkeys, where she was known for her strong work ethic and warm spirit.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Elva and Orlanda Cole; her brother, James Cole; and her sisters, Shirley Dotson and Zelma Williams.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Bennie Griffin; her three daughters, TaNasha Brown, Quaneishia Davis, and Jasmine Walker; her two sons, Patrick and Bennie Griffin; her siblings, Jimmy Roberson, Carl Cole, Larry Cole, Margaret Cole-Clark, Elva Cole Jr., Jerry Don Cole, and Debra Moore; her beloved grandchildren, Kyndalyn, Carder, Brittany, Kristopher, Sloan, Kenden, Kyreon, and Jasmine; her precious great-grandchildren, Chozen, O'Mari, Ja'Niyah, Josiah & Jaxson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Patricia's love was the foundation of her family. Her strength, wisdom, laughter, and unwavering devotion will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
