IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patrick Dewayne
Bowie
January 21, 1975 – December 7, 2025
Early on Sunday morning, December 7, 2025, Patrick Dewayne Bowie flew away from us and the cares of this world. Patrick was born January 21, 1975 to Lanchester and Lois Bowie in Tyler, Texas, the middle son of three boys. He attended the former John Tyler High School, graduating in 1993, and later he attended Tyler Junior College and Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Carter Temple C.M.E. Church, Tyler, Texas, was always home for him and his family to serve a God who never makes a mistake. As a child and young adult, he sang in the choir and served as an usher, even while being a mischievous Pat. After a family trip to Austin, Texas and a visit with a cousin who lived there, Patrick fell in love with Austin. The month of his 21st birthday in 1996, Patrick moved to Austin for a new beginning. He met Kimberly Danielle McFarlin while working at Dell Technologies and they were married on May 26, 2000.
Patrick worked for the United States Postal Service for over fifteen years and then decided he wanted to pursue his dream of being a truck driver. After completing commercial driving school, he was finally able to live his dream, which he did until his death. He was also President of Dawgz 4 Life M/C, Round Rock, Texas.
He was loved by everyone; he never met a stranger; and an unfillable void has been left. Remembering and cherishing the memories is his loving wife, Kim, Round Rock, Texas; daughter, Paris Bowie, Dallas, Texas; son, Braxton Bowie, Tulsa, Oklahoma; son, Dino Bowie,
Round Rock, Texas; granddaughter, Charleigh Rae, Dallas, Texas; parents, Lanchester and Lois Bowie, Tyler, Texas; mother-in-law, Carolyn Cunningham, Round Rock, Texas; brother, Landon Bowie (Starr), Tyler, Texas; brother, Nathan Bowie (Kassandra), Mesquite, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
