IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Phyllis
Jordan
November 5, 1968 – April 2, 2024
Phyllis Arlene Jordan was born November 5, 1968 in Tyler, TX to the late Arlyene Square and Charles Ballenger. She departed this earthly life on April 2, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Archie "Pete" Square, sister, Patricia Cotton Moore and brother, Ricky Square.
Phyllis confessed Christ at an early age at Gee's Memorial C.O.G.I.C. then later moved her membership to the Kingdom Family Church when she moved to Dallas, where she served faithfully. She graduated from Chapel Hill High School in 1986 and attended Tyler Jr. College. She was employed at Pepsico for 29 years and was known as "Ms. Pepsi".
Phyllis loved being with her family and friends. She had a passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives. Her selflessness knew no bounds. Her kindness and compassion were truly unmatched and she touched the lives of so many with her generosity. The minute she walked into a room with her beautiful smile, the room was filled with joy. She had a distinctive and calming voice that didn't seem to change even when she was upset. Even though dancing wasn't one of her many talents she had a voice of an angel but still attempted to "bust a move" at any given opportunity. Most of all she was a loving and God-fearing woman who was beautiful inside and out!
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Ambrea Nicole Jordan, Houston TX; four grandchildren: Breeona Lacy (nana pooh), Patrick Jordan(nana man), Keimorah Goodwyn - Dews (nana boo), Malaysia Goodwyn- Dews (nana pearl) all of Houston, TX, Sisters: Paulette Henderson (Andra), Portia Johnson, Pamela High all of Tyler,TX, Terri Square Daniels (Anthony), and Alicia Square Means both of Cleveland, OH; Brothers: Eldred Cotton III (Brenda) of Tyler, TX and Chad Ballenger (Gloria) of Arlington, TX, two aunts: Virginia Fonteno (James) of Richardson, TX, Joyce England of Fort Worth, TX and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and a knit of sisterly/brotherly friends.
