Quincy McCain (43) was born July 21, 1979 to his mother Virgina "Cookie" McCain and Hosea McCain in Tyler, Texas. He graduated from Chapel Hill High School in 1997. He graduated from Texas State Technical College in Marshall ,Texas in 2001 and resided in Palestine, Texas where he worked with TXU energy and later held various jobs in the field of electronics before becoming a stay at home dad in 2017.
Quincy and Alicia McCain joined in holy matrimony on June 24, 2006 and shared a beautiful son, Braxton McCain (5) who is the joy of their lives and was able to share many adventures together. Along with this matrimony, Quincy gained a father-in-law, Weldon Thompson (Beverly), mother-in-law Polly Hill, sister-in-law, Vivian Crowder (Thompson) and a brother-in-law Jerel Crowder.
After establishing residency in Dallas, Texas, Quincy primarily had the joy of caring for his son Braxton everyday where he instilled his love of fishing, music, artistry, and basketball with him.
Quincy leaves to cherish his memories wife, Alicia McCain, son, Braxton McCain, sister-in-law Vivian Crowder (Thompson), brother-in-law, Jerel Crowder, mother-in-law, Polly Hill, father-in-law, Weldon Thompson and his spouse Beverly Thompson. As well as, nephews, Elijah Crowder, Jerel Crowder, and niece Alexandria Crowder, three aunts Velma McCain Jones, Rosemary McCain Taylor, and Gladys Johnson, six uncles, CB Black (Loretta), Elvin McCain Jr (Deborah), John Holland (Fannie), Milton Holland (Tonette), Harold Holland, and Michael Black. As well as a host of cousins and friends.
Quincy was preceded in death by his mother Virgina "Cookie" McCain, his father Hosea McCain, Paternal and Maternal Grandparents Elvin and Georgia McCain as well as Murlene Black and Comado Black, five Aunts, Reather McCain Roberts, Helen McCain Page, Birdia McCain Cole, Doris Fuller and Mammie Holland, three uncles; Lee Edward McCain, Douglas Ray McCain, and Willie Ross McCain.
