Ressie Lee Taylor White was born May 1,1928 in Winona, Texas to the parentage of Hattie & Moody Taylor. She attended local schools.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hawkins, Texas. She later joined New Zion Baptist Church, Winona, Texas, where she was a faithful member until she passed.

She departed this life on November 16, 2020 at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

She is survived by five daughters; Rosetta Glasper, Betty Mitchell, Sylvia Taylor all of  Dallas, Texas, Dorothy Curry of Tyler,Texas, and Joyce Taylor of Mesquite,Texas. One son, Tommy Taylor (Joyce) of Hawkins, Texas, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
