Robert Broughton was born in Tyler, Texas to the late Jettie Broughton and Lula Browning on March 3, 1943. He joined Galilee Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Galilee School. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Robert Gaines, and siblings; Hubert, Thomas, Peter, Wardell, Jettie,Jr., and Josephine Lou Miller. Robert is survived by his son; Robert Broughton,Jr.,daughter; Sandra Broughton, four grandchildren,one brother; Kenneth Broughton, one sister; Pleasie Broughton, and several nieces and nephews.
