Robert David Elder was born in Dallas, Texas on October 29, 1980 to Robert Randolph and Teresa Elder. He grew up in Tyler, Texas and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School class of 1999. He worked in construction and the food industry with Ted Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, step-father; Emanuel Kemp, and nephew; Jeremiah Elder.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father; Robert Randolph of Pittsburg, Texas, mother; Teresa Mosley(Von),sisters; Jean Amie, and LeRhesa Elder, daughter; Kiyara Elder, niece; LaKeyle Elder all of Tyler, Texas, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
