Ronnie "Jaylon" Mills was born February 11, 2003 to Toni Cooksey and Ronnie Mills he was known to everyone as "Jaylon". He gained his wings on June 19, 2021. Jaylon received his education in Dallas County School District, and was classified as a senior at Dallas Can Academy. After graduation Jaylon had dreams of pursuing a career in music. He always talked about making it big, so he could give back to the community. He wanted to use his platform to stand up and fight for the social injustice against young black men. He was a devoted son, a loving brother, and a very caring uncle.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmothers; Mary D. Cooksey and Ressie White, grandmother; Hazel Barrett, great grandfathers; J.C Walton and Phillip James Cooksey, aunt; Admitria Mills, and uncle; Warren Cooksey.

He leaves to mourn, mother; Toni Cooksey, Father; Ronnie Mills, grandmother; Dorothy Curry, three brothers; Chauncey Cooksey, Latreyron Mills, and Josh Johnson, one sister; Roniesha Mills, two nephews; Jaivion Joffrion and Chauncey Cooksey II, two uncles; Phillip(Letha) Cooksey, and Kevin(Sharon) Curry, four aunts; Tanya Cooksey, Devera Curry, Roshunda Curry, and Sarah(Randy) Moss. A host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
