Roy L. Moore was born on September 14, 1952 to the late Wardell Moore Sr &the late Ida Mae Norwood Moore in Tyler, Tx.

Roy Attended school in Tyler and was a graduate of Emmett J. Scott High School Class of 1970.

At an early age he joined and was a member of Miles Chapel C.M.E. Church. He would also lead a career in welding for 35 years before his retirement.

Roy Married Willie Faye Adams on February 8, 1975 and remained married for 47 years.  To this union two daughters were born, LaTonia Moore-Clark and LaTrina Moore-Rhodes.

On Thursday December 22, 2022 the Lord led Roy to his final destination of Heaven where he will reunite with his father , mother , sister Lela Moore Watson, Brothers Troy L. Moore , Wardell Moore Jr, John H. Moore  and Niece Fredetta Moore, all of whom preceded him in death.

Left to Cherish his memories is his wife Willie Faye Moore , Daughters LaTonia Clark (Dennis) and LaTrina Rhodes.  Sister Rutha Key and brother Fred Moore (Almarie). 3 Grandchildren Domiya Rhodes, Dj Rhodes and Kingston Bell. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
