Sallie Pearl Blunt was born May 17, 1924 in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Frank and Gordie Hayes. Sallie Pearl transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 14 th , 2021.
She married Lowry Blunt.
Sister Blunt united with Greater Love Temple Church of God in Christ. Over the years she served as a devoted president of the usher board at her home church which led her to serve as a willing and committed usher with the Texas Northeast Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ.
During her years she serviced many families including the Simpsons and JB Glaspie Family whom she served for 20+ years.
She was proceeded in death by her parents: Frank and GordieHayes, and children daughter; Annie Pearl Ponder and son; Eddie D Easter, three sisters; Rosie Bowie, Louvine Banks, and Irene Davis, five brothers; James Hayes, Garland Hayes, Archie Hayes, Leon Hayes, and John A Hayes.
Sallie leaves behind children; Lilly Pearl Critton, Essie Bolden (Jessie), Leslie Tucker, Billy Ray Easter, and Brenda Kay Easter-Baker. 26 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one sister; Marzelle Lott (Elmo) of Houston, Texas and one brother; Walter Hayes of Monroe, Louisiana, and a host of other relatives and friends.
