Sharon L. Guster was born on March 12, 1949 to Jimmy L. and Luvera Washington Guster in Tyler, Texas.

At an early age she joined the New Holland Baptist Church. There she taught Sunday school, and was Mission Vice President. She was also a member of the choir and served on the kitchen committee. She remained faithful until God called her home. She attended Tyler public schools, and worked in the childcare, insurance and customer service industries.

Sharon was preceded in death by both parents, two sisters (Bessie Dews and Eleanor Dews McMillian), three brothers (Jackie Guster, Ronald Guster and Don Guster Sr.)

Sharon leaves to cherish her memories four children: Dexter (Audrey) Guster, Rebecca (Rev. Wendel) Pringle, Carolyn Guster and Justin Guster all of Tyler, Texas.; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; sister, Doll Oliver of Tyler, Texas; three brothers Joe Guster and Michael Guster both of Tyler, Texas and Jimmy (Tenita) Guster of Humble, Texas; one uncle Calvin (Doris) Washington of Houston, Texas. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
