Stacey Michelle Griffin-Fowler was born
on
Saturday August 11, 1962 to the late Faye Freeman-Griffin and Rev. Earl Lee Griffin in Tyler, Texas. Stacey attended the
public-school
system of Lindale.
Stacey was employed by Dallas County where she retired from managing her own
county
tax office. She was currently working at Sky Ranch
in Garden Valley
until her demise.
Stacey became a member at Friendship C.M.E. Church at an early age and was faithful until she relocated to Dallas. During her stay in Dallas she united with Christian Chapel Temple of Faith where she served as a steward and Destiny Worship Center where she was a faithful Usher. Stacey returned home in 2011 and reunited with the church of her childhood. Stacey's passions in ministry was anything that included service. Serving others brought her great joy. She was a committed and dedicated usher from the Local level, District Level where she was currently the President of the North Tyler District Ushers, and she was an active member of the Central Texas Regional Ushers Ministry. She also served as the Director of Christian Education for the North Tyler District. Stacey is affectionately referred to as, "Ms. Friendship" where she served in virtually every capacity. She has served as Usher president, Stewardess President, Missionary President, Recording Steward, the finance Ministry, and the Announcement Clerk.
She was proceeded in death by her Mother, Faye Helen Freeman -Griffin, maternal Grandparents John and Ara Freeman, and her paternal Grandparents , G eo rge and Core ne Griffin .
Stacey is survived by her husband, Sinclair Fowler , Jr. of 9 years. Her two sons, Rashaw Williams of Lindale and Shadrick Williams (Quinessa) of Waco , and their Fur- baby "Sandy". Her dad, Rev. Earl Lee Griffin of Lindale, Her brothers Dwight Griffin of Lindale, Adri a n Griffin (April) of New Harmony, two sisters, Barbara Cain (Kenneth) and Debra Kaiser both of Lindale. Her cousin Bernard Waggoner (Cassandra) helped to make up the group "The East Texas Six". Grandchildren, Nia, Grayson, and Shadrick Kade , and h er god-son, Jucorey Griffin-Robinson. Stacey was cherished by a host of other relatives, co-workers, church family, and friends.
