Mr. Steven Ralph Langley was the second baby boy born to H.W. (Buddy) and Martha Ann Hambrick Langley on Valentine Day, February 14, 1955, at 9:00 a.m. Steven attended Tyler Public Schools. After graduating from Robert E. Lee in the Class of 1973, he attended Tyler Jr. College. He later began working in oil production and domestic landscaping.

Steven was a longtime member of the Smith Temple Church of God in Christ all of his life. He served in all of the children ministries under Superintendent W.B. Bookman.

Steven was currently employed by Mrs. Cindy Gordan. He was the caretaker of her late husband. Mr. Langley was a very caring individual.

He was preceded in death by his father on October 18, 2010, his mother on April 16, 2023, and his only sister, Marcus Ann Langley Bailey, on March 13, 2023. Mr. Langley is survived by his lovely and devoted wife, Mrs. Jann Brown Stewart Langley, one daughter, Stephanie Langley Thompson (Mikal), one son, Steven Derrell Smith, two brothers, Roger H.W. Langley (Dr. Dorothy), Danny Paul Langley (Michelle), one brother-in-law, Roger Lynn Bailey, host of bonus children, 5 grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
