Tamasa Ornando Wofford was born on August 8, 1964 to Ms. Willie R. Wofford and the late Charl ey Richard , Sr. in Overton, TX. Tamasa grew up on the Wofford Hill surrounded by family. At an early age, Tamasa accepted Christ and joined Spring Chapel C.M.E. He graduated from Arp High School in 1983 where he was involved in baseball and agricultural classes. He also attended Kilgore College and Prairie View A&M wanting to become a veterinarian . After graduating , he was employed as a ground's keeper for Mason Cemetery under the wings of a father figure, Mr. Donald Reel. With encouragement and assistance from Mr. Reel to expand his trade, he became his own boss and started Wofford Services. He utilized all the knowledge he obtain ed from him and other men in his life to become a successful entrepreneur in contract work with heavy equipment. Through his work , he gained many friends. For relaxation , Tamasa enjoyed family and country living by raising animals and riding horses.
On June 21, 2008, Tamasa married the love of his life Adrianne Smith. Through this joining, Tamasa gained two stepdaughters , Nicolette and Rachael.
On July 1 st , Tamasa transitioned and was welcomed by his wife, Adrianne and heavenly father to find rest. He is preceded in death by wife, Adrianne; father, Charl ey Richard , Sr. ; father figure, Donald Reel; brothers, Keith Burns and Rodney Richard. Leaving to cherish his legacy is his mother, Willie R. Wofford; step- daughters Nicolette Thompson and Rachael Williams; siblings, Sherry (John) Booty, Camille Riley III, Charley Richard, Jr., Gregory Richard, Charlotte Thomas, Valerie Richard, Joseph Richard, LaTonya Brown, Gerard Richard, Xavier Richard, and Robbie Richard; god-brothers, Donald Wofford, James Starks, Sr. and Ivory Joe Star ling ; god-sisters, Angie Wofford, Debra Williamson, Terette Tillman, and Teressa Pollard; aunts, Mildred Coaty and Erma Wofford; uncle, Glen Green, Sr.; mother in law, Gail Smith, special friend s , Bobby Brager, Johnny Carl Roberson, Barry Martin, and Vollie Davis; and a host of family and friends.
