Tim's Journey

Bor n on July 7, 1959 in Tyler, Tx ., t o the parentag e of Rev. Clayton L. Brooks, Sr. and Helen R. Brooks. Tim transition o n April 14, 2020 in Garland Tx . He was 60 years old.

Tim graduated from John Tyler High School in May 1978. He went on to graduate from The University of Texas at Dallas, BA in American Studies 1989.

Most of his professional career was with State Farm as Mail Clerk Coordinator.

He later in his career joined Platinum Security company and work for several Auto Auctions.

At an early age he accepted Christ and joined College Hill Baptist Church where his father Pastored. He was a member of the young adult choir and church basketball team.

Tim was an avid Dallas Cowboy f an and loved his job in security at the AT&T Dallas Cowboy Stadium, where he saw players and was even seen on TV several times . Tony Dorsett was his favorite player.

Tim was predeceased by his parents and brother Clayton B rooks Jr. Those to left  to cherish precious memories include brother Benjam in B rooks, wife Reta , brother Eugene Brooks, One sister Jennifer (JT Tennyson), nephews; Benjamin Jr., Phillip, Micah and Jaylen, nieces; Kendra, Courtney, Jesera and A ndrea Roberts. Great niece Nyla and Caleb Brooks.

One Aunt Christine Carter and a host of other relative s and friends.
