Murphy
September 2, 1949 – June 23, 2024
T.O. was born September 2, 1949, to the late Clarence and Lois Murphy. T.O. was one of eight children, he attended Chapel Hill, where he graduated in 1969. He was later drafted to the United States Army, where he served his country for 10 years. After his discharge from the service, he worked for Carrier for over 30 years, where he retired. He was an usher and member at North Tenneha Church of Christ, He belonged to the Rose City Civitan Club. You could often find him on hill street playing dominos with his friend. He also drove for the after-school program at the North Tyler Day Nursery.
His is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Lois Murphy, brothers Clarence Ray Murphy Jr, Cleo
Murphy, James Earl Murphy, and sisters Nina Mae Warren and Christine Murphy Fuller
He leaves to Cherish many memories to his sons Clifford Murphy and Torrey Murphy (Victoria), and his daughter Courtney House. His grandchildren Maya, Mia, Xavier and Orlando. His Sister Katherine Cobb (Herman) and brother Dwain Murphy, His friend Ola Strippling and a host of nieces and nephews.
