Tony Darren Landers was born November 13, 1960, in Tyler, Texas. He was the oldest
of 2 children, his sister, Perrilyne Denise Edwards, both raised and loved by Virginia
"Jenkie" Landers-Edwards and Robert Edwards. He accepted Christ at an early age and
was a long-time member of Liberty Baptist Church. Tony graduated from John Tyler High School in 1979, where he was the star athlete and singer in the school's boys' choir. He later graduated from Tyler Junior College in 1981 with his Associates in Business Administration. He continued his education with some undergrad studies at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Shortly afterward, Tony moved to Dallas, TX, where he dated and married Olivette Chisom-Landers in October of 1995. Their love grew into a family of 4, daughter, Tonesha D. Landers, and son, Tarion D. Landers. Fatherhood was his greatest joy. He wore many hats, including coach, cheerleader, and his favorite… chauffeur. He moved back home due to the illness and passing of his mother. He became a deacon and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church Male Choir. He was employed at FedEx Freight-Tyler, TX, for 11 years until his health no longer permitted him to do so.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Sue Edwards, his Sister, Perrilyne Denise Edwards, and his Aunt/Mother, Ida Mae Rainey, and a host of aunts and uncles.

He leaves to cherish his memories, Stepfather, Robert Edwards, his loving daughter, Tonesha D. Landers, devoted son, Tarion "Man man" Landers, Mother of children, Olivette Chisom-Landers. Aunt, Linda Williams, Cousin Vikki Williams (Bobby),Nephews: Desmond, Darrion, and Demarion Williams, as well as a host of extended family, friends, and colleagues.
